2023 Hindi-language romantic comedy family drama movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, also known as Rocky and Rani’s Love Story, was written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy.
It was directed by Karan Johar. In the movie, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt play an unconventional couple who decide to spend three months living with each other’s families before getting hitched. Their family members include Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir, and Kshitee Jog. After being apart for 48 years—since their final on-screen appearance in Sholay (1975)—Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan reunited in the film.
